Trial starts for man who shot disabled veteran in wheelchair on Seattle’s Waterfront

SEATTLE — (KOMO) – The trial for a man who shot a disabled veteran on the Seattle Waterfront last summer started Monday morning as jurors heard from prosecutors and the man’s defense attorney in opening statements.

Gregory Timm, 33, faces one count of assault in the first degree and theft in the third degree for the July 31 shooting at Alaskan Way and Seneca Street.
