Blizzard Warning for the Cascades and strong winds for everyone

The tail-end of winter is throwing quite the curveball through the rest of this week. Today will feel close to yesterday with some showery mountain snow, and some light valley snow chances into the late evening hours. Otherwise, expect breezy conditions and some sunshine with passing clouds.

By this evening, steady snow starts in the Cascades and it will not stop until the weekend. Stevens Pass will receive at least three more feet of snow while Snoqualmie will receive at least two more.

The wind picks up Wednesday night leading to areas of little to no visibility in the Cascades as snow continues to fall. This prompted the National Weather Service to place a Blizzard Warning over the Cascades for Wednesday evening into Thursday morning…
