Snow closes Washington state mountain passes, including Snoqualmie

The snowfall in the central Puget Sound region isn’t all fun and games, causing a number of highway traffic issues Friday morning.

Interstate 90 is closed between North Bend and near Easton, 20 miles east of the Snoqualmie Pass summit, due to multiple spinouts and collisions, said the Washington State Department of Transportation. Compact snow and ice have accumulated on the roadway.
