SEATTLE — An Auburn man who spent five years in jail before being acquitted in the death of his girlfriend’s 2-year-old son has filed a federal lawsuit accusing King County law enforcement and medical officials of racial bias and fabricating evidence.
D’Andre “Dre” Glaspy, 33, filed the lawsuit Friday in U.S. District Court in Seattle against the King County Sheriff’s Department, the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, King County, and the city of SeaTac, as well as several individual officials.
The suit alleges investigators wrongly treated Glaspy as a homicide suspect from the outset of the 2017 death of his partner TeAnna Ausler’s son, identified in the complaint as “MHA,” and used biased and misleading reporting that led to his arrest and prosecution…
