BAINBRIDGE ISLAND — Dolly Mama greeted visitors to a new home on Winslow Way the second week of March, marking the boutique’s third location since Michelle Kammer founded the shop in Gig Harbor 12 years ago.
Formerly the home of longstanding boutique Heart, the storefront is one that had a place in Kammer’s memory far before she brought in an array of dresses in every color along with Easter gifts and spring decor to Dolly Mama by the Bay.
“I used to come here as a little girl on the ferry because I lived in Seattle,” Kammer said. “When we were like 16, my girlfriend and I would take the ferry and shop on this street, and I’ve always just loved it here. It was serendipitous, for sure.”…
