BELLEVUE, WA — Bellevue building inspectors issued a formal notice of violation this week after determining that Mayor Mo Malakoutian’s cheekbones exceed allowable height limits under the city’s land use code.
According to the citation, the Mayor’s “prominent bilateral facial elevations,” were found to be “materially inconsistent with adopted height maps and surrounding context,” triggering immediate review under Bellevue’s design and development standards.
