Tickets are on sale for the Bremerton Air Show in Washington state. The fourth annual event is scheduled for July 11-12 at Bremerton National Airport (KPWT) about 16 miles west of Tacoma.
Organizers said the event is a combination of historic aircraft, aerobatics, and family-friendly entertainment, calling it a “celebration of living history.” The airport has strong ties to World War II as the “PWT” in the identifier stands for Pacific Weapons Transfer, stemming from its days as a naval air facility used primarily for training and logistics.
The Bremerton Air Show is funded by the Collins Historical Aircraft Foundation, a Washington-based nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving historic aircraft and supporting the veterans who flew and maintained them.
