Suspect connected to high-value guitar thefts across West Coast arrested by Redmond police

REDMOND, Wash. — Redmond police detectives arrested a man in connection with a series of high-value guitar thefts at Guitar Center stores across the West Coast.

On Nov. 13, 2025, officers were called to the Redmond Guitar Center for a theft report. A guitar worth nearly $3,000 was stolen in October by three suspects who were working together, according to Redmond police.

Detectives found a matching guitar at a pawn shop, where employees said a man had pawned several expensive instruments within a short period of time. Transaction records and surveillance video identified the suspect as 34-year-old Armando Jacome Vignaud, police said…
