Man stabbed in neck at Rainier Beach gas station retaliates by hitting attacker with his car

A man retaliated against his attacker by hitting him with his car after he was stabbed in the neck Wednesday night in Seattle’s Rainier Beach neighborhood.

A 56-year-old man was in his car at a gas station on Rainier Avenue S. at 10 p.m. Wednesday when another man, a 50-year-old, approached him and slashed his neck with a knife. According to the Seattle Police Department (SPD), the victim of the attack chased down the suspect and hit him with his car.

According to the man who was stabbed, he initially thought he had been slapped before realizing his throat had been cut. After he hit his attacker with his car, the injured driver then drove home. His roommate called 911, and he was subsequently taken to Harborview Medical Center. He is in stable condition, as of this reporting…
