Moses Lake police find no evidence of homeless relocation rumors tied to World Cup

MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Police Department said Wednesday it has found no evidence to support rumors that homeless individuals are being transported from Seattle to Moses Lake ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

In a statement released Wednesday afternoon, the department addressed speculation circulating in the community over the past several days claiming that Seattle officials were bussing homeless people out of the city, with some allegedly arriving in Moses Lake.
