SPOKANE, Wash. — The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Washington announced Wednesday that a man was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his role in a fentanyl trafficking operation tied to Eastern Washington.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Clinton Paul Patterson, 42, will also serve 10 years of supervised release following his prison sentence. The case involved fentanyl distribution between Seattle and Spokane, with meetings often arranged in Ritzville.
Investigators with the Spokane Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration said that the case began with evidence gathered in December 2023.
