BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – The U.S. Coast Guard will officially cut the ribbon Friday on the new Training Center Birmingham-Southern (TRACEN), the new home of the Enlisted Training Center of Excellence on the former campus of Birmingham Southern College.
Anticipation has been growing since the announcement was made earlier this year.
A number of dignitaries will be on hand for the opening including Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin and Senator Katie Britt.
