BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Jefferson County leaders are warning drivers to prepare for traffic changes near Morgan Road and Highway 150 as construction continues on the Lakeshore Extension project.
The project, a partnership between Jefferson County, the city of Bessemer, and the Alabama Department of Transportation aims to improve safety and traffic flow at one of the busiest intersections in the area.
Jefferson County Engineer Chris Nicholson said roughly 25,000 vehicles travel Highway 150 each day, while another 10,000 to 15,000 vehicles use Morgan Road…
