Fashion show competition in Bessemer to benefit woman battling rare disease

BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC) – A fashion show competition is coming to Bessemer and raising money for a south Alabama woman battling a rare autoimmune disease.

The event is called “Let Dee Games Begin.” Founder De’Angela Pippen says it’s part competition, part celebration.

More than 60 models will compete for cash prizes across four runways. Designers, stylists, and photographers will also be in the mix…
