BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC) – The Bessemer Police Department has arrested a man in connection to the fatal stabbing of a New Orleans man.
According to Bessemer Fire Chief Kendric Hughley, a charter bus of 40 security guards was stopped on a lunch/snack break at the Bessemer Walmart on Monday, June 15. The bus was heading back to Louisiana.
Police say 22-year-old Darryel Sutton, of New Orleans, had gotten back onto the bus and the suspect, now identified as 35-year-old Pierre Seymour Eskew, of New Orleans, was already on the bus.
According to Bessemer Police, the incident between Sutton and Eskew stemmed over a woman that worked with them. Sutton was allegedly interested in the woman, and she did not return his feelings…
