A new federal grant will enhance efforts to plan the future of mass transportation in the Birmingham region.
The Birmingham Jefferson County Transit Authority was recently awarded a $1 million through from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Innovative Finance and Asset Concession Grant Program.
