Hueytown celebrates new 400-acre nature preserve opening

The new 400-acre West Rock Mountain Preserve in Hueytown is now open to the public.

The community held an official ribbon-cutting on Saturday, May 20th.

Located at 250 Dee Hendrix Road, the new nature preserve includes places to enjoy nature and 6.7 miles of hiking and mountain bike trails.
