MONTGOMERY – Veteran Birmingham broadcast journalist Scott Griffin has been named by Executive Director Heath Harmon as the new Director of Communications for the Alabama High School Athletic Association. Harmon said Griffin will be joining the staff on Thursday, June 25. He is replacing Ron Ingram, who retired December 31 after serving the AHSAA as Director of Communications since 2007.
Griffin, a graduate of Birmingham’s Ensley High School, earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies at the University of Alabama (1982). He is definitely no stranger to TV viewers in Alabama…
