Complaint alleges THC gummies led to incapacitation in Jefferson County rape charge

A Jefferson County man has been charged with first-degree rape in connection with an alleged incident involving a juvenile, according to court records filed in the District Court of Jefferson County, Bessemer Division.

The charging document alleges that Benjamin Vincent Bodin committed the offense on or about May 2, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m.
