IRONDALE, Ala. (WBMA) — Irondale residents are still months away from deciding whether the city should form its own school system, but Mayor James D. Stewart Jr. says the process will likely require difficult financial decisions if it moves forward.
In a blog post published earlier this month, Stewart shared the results of a feasibility study commissioned by the City Council last year to evaluate whether Irondale should separate from Jefferson County Schools.
