HOMEWOOD, Ala. (WBRC) – Homewood Fire Department leaders urged residents at the Park at Buckingham apartment complex to begin looking for a new place to live after crews posted pink notices on several buildings which declared they were unsafe for human occupancy.
Residents said Tuesday, July 28 that they felt frustrated and confused, with some unsure what the notices meant and how soon they must move.
Fire department leaders said they have tried to work with the complex, but conditions have deteriorated to the point that some units are no longer safe.
