WILTON, Ala. (WBRC) – A death investigation is underway in Shelby County after a woman was found shot to death Sunday morning, investigators in Shelby County confirmed Monday.
Deputies got a call that someone was shot around 6:05 a.m. Sunday. They responded to an area along Selma Street in Wilton, not far from Wilton Baptist Church. There, they found a woman dead from what looked to be a gunshot wound.
Investigators say a person of interest is currently being held on unrelated charges. They also said there is no danger to the community…
