A suspect has been indicted in the 2023 shooting death of a man in the parking lot of a south Birmingham apartment complex. Samuel Edward Wiggins IV, 27, was initially arrested on the capital murder warrant on Oct. 2. A Jefferson County grand jury on Dec. 7 indicted Wiggins, and that indictment was made public this week.
