An afternoon shooting in a west Birmingham neighborhood left one person seriously injured. The shooting happened at 1:08 p.m. Wednesday in the 4700 block of Court R in Ensley. According to police radio communications, the male victim was shot in the neck. Shot Spotter also indicated gunfire in that area.
