BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — The Jefferson County Alumni Chapter of the University of Alabama National Alumni Association announced it will celebrate the Eli Gold Scholarship at The Club on Feb. 20.
The event will recognize Gold, the “Voice of the Crimson Tide” since 1989, and his new scholarship. Gold will discuss his career in broadcasting and the scholarship that will help students at the UA.

A live raffle of Alabama memorabilia will be held at the function. Those who are members of the UA Jefferson County Alumni Chapter can attend for $75, and nonmembers can buy tickets for $85. A table can be purchased for $1,000.
