BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – WBRC is On Your Side checking in with police to see if Amazon’s new Ring doorbell camera policy will impact you. The company will no longer allow law enforcement to request footage through the neighbors app. WBRC reached out to Birmingham Police Officer Truman Fitzgerald with that very question he says this won’t impact BPD at all and it’s a testament to the effort that Birmingham officers make everyday.
