Pizitz Food Hall features variety of cuisines

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — The Pizitz Food Hall is not just a place people can come and eat, but also a place people can come and experience different cultures.

Nola Ice Broad Street brings Louisiana culture to the Magic City. The business originally started as a food truck, but during the COVID-19 pandemic, owner Kelli Caulfield decided to move her business inside The Pizitz.

“This is an incubator. It’s like a commissary for food trucks, but this is for restaurants,” Caulfield said. “It gives you another starting location, and it was the perfect spot, downtown Birmingham, to serve the people of our city.”

Caulfield said business has been so great at the food hall that now she is in the process of expanding.

“Food halls are great overall, and that’s one of the things we want to do with our brand to spread out to food halls nationwide,” Caulfield said. “And we’ve just grown, developed our sauces and seasoning and continued to product test.”
