SHELBY COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) – A search was underway for the person who led deputies on a chase in Shelby County Monday afternoon. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said the incident started when some of its deputies tried to stop a vehicle around 3:30 p.m. on I-65 near the 231 mile marker in the Calera/Alabaster area.
