BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC) – Officials in Bessemer are on the scene of a homicide that occurred Saturday afternoon. Officials say they received a call of a possible shooting at 1 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Norwood Ave. Upon arrival, officers observed a male on the front porch of a home suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead on scene.
