BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – It’s the end of an era for a popular Avondale pizza spot. This weekend marks the final days of operation for the Post Office Pies location in that area. Just before the new year, Queen’s Park and Urban Parc closed their doors just days apart. In the first month of 2024, several businesses, including Five in Lakeview and Birmingham Candy Comp. in Pizitz Food Hall, closed their doors, too.
