Charges against four suspects in the January shooting death of a 5-year-old boy in Bessemer will be forwarded to a grand jury for indictment consideration. The suspects in the death of Brandon Nation III appeared Monday before Jefferson County Bessemer Cutoff Judge David Carpenter for a preliminary hearing. The judge found sufficient probable cause for the case to proceed to the next judicial step.
