At least one neighbor of a pricey new home for sale in Birmingham’s East Lake neighborhood said it sends a clear statement to those who live there. “It means, ‘We’re going to come in with our money and push you out,'” Tamara Curtis, a homeowner and East Lake property owner said. “Where does that leave the people who do keep up their property?”
