BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Birmingham City School (BCS) leaders say a student was stopped from bringing a weapon into Huffman High School on Wednesday morning, Feb. 14. The district is crediting their new weapon detectors for discovering the student in possession of a weapon while they tried entering the school.
