HOOVER, Ala. (WBRC) – Authorities in Hoover have arrested a man after they say he attempted to rob a bank. On Feb. 12, at approximately 4:47 p.m., the Hoover 911 Center received a call of an attempted bank robbery at a credit union on Inverness Center Pkwy. Officials say that Ian Everett D’Arpa entered the bank and indicated that he was armed and demanded a large amount of money before leaving on foot. A description of D’Arpa was given to Hoover Police and other agencies who responded to the scene.
