BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Alabama’s gaming legislation is now heading to the state senate after quickly passing the house Thursday. It would give you a chance to approve casino style gambling, a lottery, and sports betting. If passed and approved by voters, the legislation would allow the state gaming commission to issue licenses to up to seven casinos. One of those casinos would be here in Birmingham.
