BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Birmingham Police Department is on the scene of a shooting that left three dead and one person injured Friday afternoon.
Officers are currently stationed in the 900 block of Center Street North on a triple homicide investigation. BPD Chief Scott Thurmond confirmed three Black males were found dead at the location and a fourth victim was taken to UAB Hospital with injuries.

Thurmond could not confirm the ages or identities of any of the victims but did state the incident was a targeted attack.
