Alabama’s FOP advocates for more mental health resources for law enforcement

Following the death of an Elmore County deputy in Fultondale, organizations want law enforcement and first responders to know there are resources and help available, and many say there needs to be more. Everette Johnson is the President of the Alabama State Fraternal Order of Police. He says law enforcement is constantly responding to scenes that can be traumatic for everyone involved. These scenes can have an impact on their mental health.
