Young Couple Found Dead in Alabama Vehicle, Prompting Homicide Investigation

A young couple from Alabama, Christian Norris and Angeliyah Webster, were discovered deceased inside their vehicle on Valentine’s Day, sparking a homicide investigation by local authorities.

Christian Norris, 20, and Angeliyah Webster, also 20, were last seen on Valentine’s Day, leaving in a white Ford Taurus for a date at the movies, according to statements from Birmingham police.

The couple was reported missing on Thursday, and less than 24 hours later, their vehicle was located by investigators. Upon inspection, both Norris and Webster were found deceased inside the car, each with apparent gunshot wounds.

Preliminary investigations by law enforcement suggest that the couple fell victim to a homicide, although no suspects have been taken into custody at this time.

The news of the couple’s tragic demise has deeply affected their families and the wider community, with Webster’s brother, Demarco Thomas, expressing his anguish over the loss of his sister.

“This level of loss is distressing, unacceptable and cannot — must not — be tolerated,” stated Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin, who revealed that one of the victims was his cousin.
