HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM/Gray News) – A Mississippi woman defied medical odds and gave birth to a miracle baby despite having two organ transplants. Brooke Lillie was diagnosed with restrictive cardiomyopathy when she was a toddler. According to the American Heart Association, the condition occurs when the heart muscle becomes stiff and not able to fill with blood properly. At just 13 months old, she received a life-saving surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital.
