Medicine can be altered if left in hot car, UAB expert says

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Baking in the hot summer sun, people leaving their pills in the car during the extreme heat could be putting themselves at risk. “I definitely want to recommend to patients not leaving their medications in the car at all,” said Mike James, Associate Chief Pharmacy Officer at UAB.
