BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — An arrest has been made following the death of a 26-year-old woman in Birmingham on June 20.
Hoover woman killed in Birmingham shooting
On Saturday, the Birmingham Police Department announced that Demetrious Kidd, 41, of Birmingham, has been arrested and charged with the death of Nakita Walker, who was found shot to death outside a home in the 700 block of New Hill Court . Kidd turned himself in to police custody on Friday, June 28.
Kidd is being held in the Jefferson County Jail with no bond. BPD will continue to investigate.
