MOUNTAIN BROOK, Ala. (WBRC) -Local first responders are back home after helping our neighbors in South Carolina deal with Tropical Storm Debby. The Alabama Task Force 2 made up of firefighters from Mountain Brook, Homewood and Rocky Ridge were assigned to Ridgeville, SC to prepare for possible water rescues due to heavy rains from Debby. They kept watch over a river using two swift water rescue boats and an off road utility vehicle.
