BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Big changes are coming for the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. They’ll soon consolidate all their services into one new and much larger facility. It’s a project that has the longtime director very excited. Allison Black Cornelius said she hopes to see some dirt being moved at the build site very soon on Sydney Drive and Lucerne Lane off Lakeshore Parkway in Jefferson County.
