BIRMINGHAM, Ala (WIAT) — The bookstore 2 nd & Charles will have its Penny-a-Page sale this weekend.
During this sale, which will happen Saturday, Aug. 17, members of the store’s free rewards program can purchase a maximum of five used books for one penny per page number. For example, with this promotion, a 500-page book could be purchased for $5.
Store locations in Alabama include Hoover, Oxford, Madison and Dothan.

The promotion is limited to used books, and it cannot be used on boxed sets, rare books, books without page numbers, books over $50, books from the “Blind Date with a Book” section, journals, comics, audio books or mini gift books.
Stores will open an hour early at 9 a.m. for the sale.
