THE NEXT 24 HOURS: We are tracking strong storms this evening with intense lightning and gusty winds. Some storms may grow severe as additional development happens throughout the evening. The rain coverage will remain scattered, so there will be locations that miss out on the rain tonight. The risk for storms will diminish late tonight with lows in the 70s.
