BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey are returning to Birmingham in 2025 with a reimaged version of The Greatest Show on Earth.
The production, which includes over 50 circus acts with 75 performers, will be at the Legacy Arena at the BJCC from January 31-February 2.
Tickets to the general public go on sale on August 27, but those looking to get pre-sale code access can sign up to become a Ringling Insider.

The reimaged, without animals, production comes after Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey took down their tents in 2017 after years of declining ticket and the phrasing out of elephant acts following court battles.
In a news release, the circus touts new, unique stunts and acts such as the triangular highwire and crisscross flying trapeze, a BMX bike stunt scene, the Double Wheel of Destiny, Wesley The One Wheel Wonder (a Guinness World Record-setting unicycle performer), live music and more.
