An investigation is underway after a man was shot to death early Saturday in west Birmingham. Officers responded to the Exxon gas station in the 1100 block of Third Avenue West at 2:40 a.m. after the city’s gunfire detection system – Shot Spotter – indicated multiple rounds fired.
