BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Good morning and happy Saturday! It’s not a bad start to the day thanks to dry air in place. Temperatures are generally in the mid 60s with lower 60s north of I-20. It feels really nice outside. First Alert AccuTrack Satellite and Radar is showing us clear and dry thanks to high pressure in place. Easterly winds continue today at 5-10 mph providing us dry conditions and low humidity. We are looking at a mostly sunny sky this afternoon with highs in the upper 80s and lower 90s. Temperatures will end up close to average for August 24. If you plan on being outside today, don’t forget the sunscreen! You’ll need it as the UV Index will remain very high. If you have any evening plans, we will remain mostly clear and dry with temperatures cooling off into the low to mid 80s.
