BESSEMER, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Three men were killed in a shooting at a Bessemer gas station late Friday night.
According to Bessemer Police Department Det. Justin Burmeister, the shooting occurred around 11:40 p.m. at the Citgo gas station on 200 Fourth Avenue North in the city.
The shooting started outside in the gas station’s parking lot and proceeded inside the establishment’s store. Burmeister said the victims ran inside, and the shooters followed them. Police found the three victims dead inside the store.

The victims drove two vehicles. Police believe there are at least two suspects who were in one vehicle. Officers received video footage from the gas station. The worker who was at the gas station when the shooting happened was not injured.
