BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Martha Hester has been a volunteer at Brookwood Baptist Hospital since 1979. In the month of September 2024, she is celebrating 45 years of volunteering. “I love to help people, I love to be with people, and I love to yap with people,” said Hester.
